Welcome to the Veloxx Club pickleball social ⚡ The goal is simple: good games, good energy, and everyone leaves wanting to come back. 1. Respect the vibe * Competitive is fine. Aggressive behavior isn’t. * Celebrate points, not mistakes. * Encourage beginners. * No shouting, racket throwing, or blaming teammates. 2. Rotate fairly * Games are social-first. * After each game, rotate out unless courts are empty. * Don’t stack teams or “hold” courts. * Mix skill levels and meet new people. 3. Be ready when it’s your turn * Keep paddles, water, and belongings organized. * If your name/team is called and you’re missing, the next group may play. 4. Beginner-friendly always * New players get priority help and explanation. * If you’re experienced: * keep rallies going * avoid targeting weaker players * help people learn the game. 5. Safety first * If a ball rolls onto court: stop play immediately and call “BALL!” * Don’t run through active courts. * Wear proper court shoes. * Stay hydrated. 6. Basic gameplay rules * Underhand serves only. * Respect the kitchen/non-volley zone. * Games typically played to 11. * If a call is close and unclear, give benefit of doubt. 7. Court etiquette * Paddle tap after games 🤝 * Don’t interrupt ongoing rallies to retrieve balls. 8. Community rules * No discrimination, harassment, or toxic behavior. * Respect the venue and equipment. * Clean up after yourself. * Content/photos may be captured during the event. 9.
