About this event
A routine prisoner escort. A dangerous criminal. What could possibly go wrong?
In this beginner-friendly D&D 5e one shot, you and your party have successfully captured Malakor, the Smiling Jackal, a notorious outlaw whose name is feared across the land. Your task seems simple: transport him safely and collect your reward.
Of course, adventuring jobs are never that straightforward.
As the journey unfolds, you'll face unexpected challenges, difficult decisions, and the consequences of transporting someone who clearly has more enemies (and plans) than anyone realized.
Whether you're new to Dungeons & Dragons or a seasoned player, Prisoner Transport offers a fun mix of roleplay, combat, teamwork, and adventure.
Character Level: 5–6
Rules: PHB classes, races, and subclasses allowed
Items: No magic items or equipment beyond armour
Pre-generated characters available if needed
🎲 New to D&D? Beginners are welcome. Please arrive by 1:00 PM for a quick introduction to the game and character setup before the session begins.
The caravan moves at 1:30 PM sharp.

Be a respectful and engaged player that generally means: No phones, be present at the table, and acknowledge your seatmates
KEEP FOOD & DRINK AWAY
Check with the host or owner of the game to see what they are ok with. If you are eating/drinking keep it away from the game area and keep your hands clean. Under no circumstances should Cheetos be around
DECLARE & NARRATE YOUR MOVES
Let players know when you are starting and ending your turn. Let them know what you are doing. This helps new players and validates the game play Don't over do it but be intentional
BE TIMELY
Be timely in your moves, & be on time for when the game is scheduled to start. Plan your moves during downtime if possible Be respectful of others who may need a little extra time
OFFER TO HELP AT THE END
Ask the host if they need help picking the game up. Some have specific ways of storing the game, but most will welcome sorting up components and cards
