The quick answer
In Settings → Domain & brand, save your domain, add the displayed DNS records and choose Check connection. The Connected status means the secure website connection is ready.
Follow these steps
Open Settings, then Domain & brand.
Enter Website domain, such as yourbrand.com or events.yourbrand.com.
Use the DNS table shown for that exact domain. A root domain uses both the @ A record and www CNAME; a subdomain uses its CNAME record.
Choose Save domain & brand.
Add the displayed DNS records with the exact Host / Name and Value at your DNS provider.
Return and choose Check connection.
When the status is Connected and SSL is ready, choose Open website. Publish the website draft if you have not already done so.
Good to know
- Enter the domain without https:// or a page path; the field cleans pasted URLs.
- Copy the exact DNS Host / Name and Value displayed for your domain in the builder.
- Saving a new domain starts its connection process; it does not replace the website publication step.
If something isn’t working
- Waiting for DNS means the records are not verified yet; check the names and values and allow propagation.
- Securing means DNS is connected and SSL is being prepared.
- Needs attention means check the displayed DNS instructions and try Check connection again.
- If you changed an existing domain, save the new domain before checking its connection.
